Meet Our Team
At the heart of our journey is a team of passionate wine experts who bring knowledge, character, and warmth to everything we do. Each member of our team shares a deep appreciation for wine—not just as a product, but as a story. As we like to say: “Storied wines for storied people.”
With years of experience across vineyards, cellars, and tasting rooms, our team combines expertise with a genuine love for sharing the richness of wine culture. At BACCHIC, we mean curation—and that’s exactly how we guide our customers in selecting wines that truly resonate.

Stella

Stella Kim – Head of Retail & Wine Advisor
I was born in Seoul and spent the later half of my education in the U.S., where I first encountered fine wine during my university years in New York.
Though wine wasn’t part of my upbringing, I quickly became the go-to person for ordering wines at gatherings long before I truly understood it.
That curiosity never left me.
Before entering the wine world, I worked in petrochemical trading across China and Singapore. In 2013, I made a decisive shift toward a more fulfilling path. I spent time on Bordeaux’s Right Bank, working hands-on in the vineyard and cellar, and went on to earn the WSET Diploma, become a Certified Sommelier (CMS), and a WSET Certified Educator.
My first role in F&B was as a junior sommelier at Caveau, followed by a position at KOT Selections, where I developed a deep love for Chenin Blanc. Later, as Wine Director at Mandala Club, I met Nicolas, then a member, who later invited me to help build Bacchic. I became the second person to join, taking on the role of Wine Advisor & Head of Retail.
At Bacchic, I’m driven to make it a destination—for locals and travellers alike—to discover exceptional wines in a welcoming space. I’m especially passionate about uncovering hidden gems, whether from the Loire, Champagne, or beyond—be it Australia, California, or a lesser-known corner of the wine world.
When I’m not hunting down bottles for the boutique, I’m usually outdoors, recharging over physical activities, a good conversation, and, of course, a great glass of wine.
ROWENA
Rowena Ching - Wine Boutique Sommelier
Born and raised on the small Malaysian island of Penang, I discovered wine early through my grandfather, for whom it was both a family trade and a quiet art.
What began as simple exposure became, with time, a lasting passion. Before stepping into the wine world professionally, I spent several years in tech sales and as cabin crew, travelling widely and sharpening both curiosity and palate. Wherever I went, I searched for vineyards and distilleries, eager to uncover the stories that shaped each region’s most expressive bottles.
I have always had a fondness for fuller-bodied wines, especially Pinotage, although joining BACCHIC wine boutique has opened the door to a far broader landscape of styles and nuances.Beyond work, I am hardly ever still.
You will most likely find me travelling, discovering new corners of the world, and immersing myself in the festivals and celebrations that give each place its pulse.

Nicolas

Nicolas Laurent – Chief Executive Officer
I grew up just outside Paris, surrounded by a family who valued good taste more than grand gestures. After studying business in Bordeaux - where the rhythm of life seems to follow the vineyards - I made my way to Singapore in 2013.
There, I began a decade-long journey through the world of wine, from my early days at Wine Connection to FICOFI, where I first had the privilege of guiding discerning families across Southeast Asia in building their cellars. I later joined Cult Wines, managing portfolios for collectors who saw wine not just as pleasure, but as patrimony. Most recently, I led the regional sales team at Wine Portal, while working closely with the CEO on broader strategy and execution.
In 2024, a few like-minded friends and I came together between London and Singapore to bring BACCHIC wine boutique to life; a wine boutique rooted in curation, curiosity, and quiet rebellion. Our mission is simple: to delight, to intrigue, and to become a soulful reference for fine wine in Southeast Asia.
Among the bottles I reach for most often: Clos Rougeard, Stéphane Bernaudeau, Racèmes, Château Rayas, Jérôme Prévost, Françoise Bedel, Rémy Lequeux-Mercier, Jean-Marie Fourrier, Domaine Tempier, Jean Foillard, Marcel Lapierre… and a well-aged Chartreuse, when the moment calls for magic. Outside the cellar, I find joy in art museums and galleries, the slow burn of a good cigar, and the sweat and surrender of hot pilates, or dancing well past midnight.
Alexandre
Alexandre Mirabella – Senior Sales Manager
Born in Marseille and raised at the foot of Mont Sainte-Victoire — the same mountain Cézanne couldn’t stop painting — I grew up between football matches and family meals, where wine was always part of the table.
I studied wine and business in Avignon, right in the heart of the Southern Rhône. That’s where I really connected with Grenache and the warmth and the idea of Terroir, through the generosity of Southern wines.
Before moving to Singapore, I spent time at a small winery in Tuscany, handling hospitality and sales. It was Sangiovese country, and I picked up Italian the same way I picked up wine — by being around it every day.
My first role in Asia was with Sarment (now-defunct) back in 2018, where I worked with fine dining restaurants and discovered the wines that still guide my palate today: Dagueneau, Roagna, Quintarelli, Roc d’Anglade, Grange des Pères, Gangloff… and a few that came after. I later joined Pivēne, working more closely with collectors and learning how to match people to wines in a way that felt personal.
In 2025, I joined BACCHIC as Senior Sales Manager to help build something different — a fine wine importer and boutique that puts people and stories first.
When I’m not working, I’m happiest staying active — on a tennis court, lifting weights, hiking somewhere foreign, or pretending to like ice baths more than I do. I’ve also got a soft spot for old cities and spontaneous museum visits — especially the kind that make you lose track of time.

Silvia

Silvia Yohan - Assistant
I was born and raised just outside Indonesia’s capital city, close enough to feel its glamour and grit. For my final course of study, I immersed myself in administration. Disciplined foundation that quietly refined my poise and prepared me for every step that followed.
Fourteen years ago, I stepped into the food and beverage industry, starting as an admin for research and development before letting ambition nudge me beyond the desk. Then I evolved into a product developer. Diving into the new world of ideas, creativity, and flavors. Crafting products that were equal parts strategy, creativity, and a touch of beautiful deviance.
In 2025, my journey found its next chapter at BACCHIC wine boutique, where I continue to discover new parts of this industry that thrives on both elegance and boldness.
Outside of work, I let myself indulge in the things that keep life more colorful: slipping into cinema worlds, hunting for hidden-gem restaurants, losing track for playing games, and always ready for the new adventure.
